kyocera km c2520 with a boken hdd.what is the procedure to replace the hdd?

Install the new one then do a sim 024 hdd reformat. Then your gonna have to put all the print and scan settings.

i tried that but the hdd format is not available. also, the hdd checkdisk jams at 0099.

Why were you replacing the hard drive? What was your problem to begin with.

the hdd was broken, i had it tested on a computer, i have a new one identicaly. still wont work

Does sim 021 show up? If it does thats the factory reset, do that first do a 906 reset and see if sim 024 shows up. But first reseat the connectors.

the sims show up but, format hdd shows up also, but is not available. i will do what you said and try again. thank you for helping me
