    FS 1130 scanner setup

    Hi, can anyone help me with setting up the scanner on a network for the FS 1130mfp. I'm REALLY lost, and be honest, I don't think I have any idea of where to start....Help please.........

    Well, I can give it a try... 1. what kind of scanning are you trying to do? smb, email, usb, etc

      I want to do SMB scanning on a network. Could you give me the steps from the beginning. Or at least what I need to do first.

        Put a shared folder on root of the pc your scanning to. Make note of the name of the share, either the IP or host name and user name and password of the computer.


        The link below will provide you the information you need to actually scan to the pc. PDF page 111 is the scan to smb section. PDF page 307 will show you how to add a one-touch destination to easily send to the pcs in the future.
