    FS-1028 print using an usb drive

    hi to all,
    i have kyocera FS-1028 ,when i plug the usb drive in the slot and after , it shows "CANNOT CONNECT TO THE USB DEVICE"

    see if maintenance mode u221 is on/off

      There is Nothing in maintenance mode u221 !!! it is 1028 serie , i want to printing from USB drive

        goto system menu then system-> then network turn off the tcp ip-> then you can try with the usb printing... it will work...

          There are limitations as to what type of files can be printed from a USB drive. PDf, TIFF and XPS appear to be the only files acceptable for printing so the file extension must be .pdf, .tiff or .xps. or they will not be recognized.

              Turn on TCP/IP to print from a USB-stick????? That's the same if I change the tyres of my car because it won't start...

                i turn the tcp ip Of but there is No result i cannot print from the usb drive , and when i match USB cable to print from PC , the pc doesn't detect the machine !! i tyred to print from others PC but nothing!!

                  i don't think print from USB was an option on the 1028
                  IBM, Mita, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Kyocera, HyPAS, Canon, Oce, Samsung, HP, TEO IP PBX/Unified Communications, Comptia Network+ Comptia PDI+ Certifications

                      when u insert the usb cable then goto to device manager whether your cable is in good condition or not..the cable is detected in your pc.. their u will cum to knw..
