    MAC 10.8 Account Code Prompt

We just put a 5550CI in an almost total MAC environment running 10.8 Mountain Lion I think its called. They use account codes and it doesn't prompt for account code like the pc's do. We do know how find it but it's not easy and customer not so happy about it. Is there something we did wrong or is it just way it is when using MAC software ? We do a few MAC's but not run into this before. Thanks for any help.

When you select print and the dialog box opens you have a drop down to select things like 2-side, staple etc. One of these options should be "Output". There is an authentication check box which when selected will open the account code input settings. These should be able to be saved. Emujo
If you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.

The problem I've always had is that some customers want the driver to PROMPT for the account code on each job. You have to use this drop-down and change the code for each print job. We have lawyers, accountants who have accounts set up for each client so they can bill for copier usage.

No prompts on the Mac OS, sorry.

Never have seen one for any make or model.
