Developer unit for a KM-3060 compatibility

Good morning everyone!

Quick question regarding the compatibility of a developer unit. I have a customer with a KM-3060 and she needs a new developer unit. I happen to be looking around my huge un-organized pile of spare parts and found a dev unit (DV-420) and an item number 302FT9305. When i look at the parts numbers on the service manual (KM-3060) i get 302FT93052 for the dev unit item number. On the box i have written that it is for the KM-2550. For the 2550 I get an item number of 302FT93050. So nothing matches.....will it work?...Is it the same? confused! Thanks alot in advance.

The 2560/3060 machines take a DV420, it is the same. When ever Kyocera upgrades a part, they usually increase the last number by 1. The 302FT93052 has gone through 2 upgrades.

This week seems to be a Kyo week. I have never had so many problems with Kyo in the last 7 months compared to what i have had this week. Good tip. Thanks again.
