ta 820 kyocera screen only never changes no error code

I have a tough one here i only see the kyocera screen it never loads anything else tried firmware but didnot take it says engine erase and engine loading then reaches 100 % then pops up with engine com error. tried hard drive also ram tech support was leaning toward the main controller Any ideas?

I have only seen this on smaller models/mfps and usually the main pwb! I cant say that this is the case with this model but it may point you in the right direction.

Please post fix when you have it.

Could be a couple of things, EEPROM on the Engine bd. The Engine bd itself it's on the right side, also have you tried loading just the engine firmware? you can get it from Kyoceras public FTP Site.

Good news the main pwb took care of the problem had one shipped from hytec a lot cheaper than kyocera thanks for the replies
