I have color registration proble with TA-5550ci. I do Auto and manuel color registration, but it's steel the same. When I make around 20 000 copies, it's goes from bad to worse. It's only the yellow color doing this problem. See the attachments. Help please!

update the latest firmware and check..... new firmware will solve your issue.... before any part replacement update the latest firmware always.......it will reduce your cost and time consumption.
but the same time some models having the negative effect after upload the new firmware.... TA5550ci will not in that list...upto my knowledge ....have a good dayComment

check the laser unit glass, is that clean.It may be yellow glass or mirror dirty in Laser Unit.
try this
Laser Scanner Cleaning
If white or color streaks appear on images, perform Laser Scanner Cleaning.
1 Press the System Menu key.
2 Press [ ], [Adjustment/Maintenance], [ ] and then [Next] of Laser Scanner Cleaning.
3 Press [Start]. Laser Scanner Cleaning begins.
4 Press [OK] after Laser Scanner Cleaning is complete.Black is Kyocera , Color is Gestetner.Comment

Update firmware , then redo color reg. If this still doesn't work , most likely its the yellow scanner ass'y. Had a couple of boxes that refused to maintain color reg for a single color. In all cases it turned out to be the scanner assy for that color.
