How many copies on machine? Did you check the transfer roller busings and connection?

Sounds like maybe you have a bad developer unit or a transfer roller broken on the ends. I'd go with the developer unit or maybe even the drum. If the transfer roller was broken seems it would do it all the time.

I agree woth Copygirl, but you may also want to check the filters....ALL of them.... Kyocera's don't seem to like it when they can't breathe too well and you get all kinds of drum/charging issues as heat builds up inside the machine.

I agree with Peterpete we have several machines where the filters have been thrown away!!!!!!!!!!!

To the Pessimist the glass is half empty
To the Optimist the glass is half full
          To the copier engineer...
The wrong glass has been supplied, it should be 50% smaller Haha
