KM-5050 Enter Maint. Mode Problem

Dear All Friend

I have a km-5050 with Job Accounting mode on. A few days ago machine gave C6000. I changed Fixing Unit with new one but i cant enter service mode because, when i power on, machine opens with Job Accounting/Enter ID-screen and after a few seconds give C6000 so i cant do U169. After C6000 screen i cant do anythink. any botton not works.

What is your opinion

After you fix the new fuser unit..!! you have to reset thethrough the simulation U0163. then the error will disappear.


going the simution mode.. first press the Status button and then 10871087.. then you can able to reset the fixing unit..

You press status button wait and display should change then enter service mode, U163 id the fuser clear not 169. Get a MANUAL.

First it was clerical error. I know its U163.





There is a misunderstanding; when i turn on the machine, it gaves C6000 error and its stays on screen so i cant do anythink.

When i press "Status" screen not change or When i press "Status+1087x2" nothing happens.

On KM-5050 when you get a C code you don't need to press status to go into simulation! Try to enter simulation with 06141010 instead of 10871087. Power OFF/ON the machine with the door open you will get c6000 the try 06141010 and then U163.
