Copystar CS1820 changed registration clutch---- now no display

Had registration problem on CS1820. I changed the registration clutch(first time) and now not getting display. I took off several connecters on main board(not all) not realizing it was not necessary. When I put machine back together there was no display. I had turned off power switch and disconnected line cord before disassembly.
I disconnected connector and reconnected a few times to make sure no bent pins or bad connection. I have manual and removing the clutches is one of the procedures before removing the drive board and so was main PWB removal which was why I disconnected a few connectors and moved over to right side while changing registration clutch and cleaning feed clutch.
Any advice is greatly appreciated except for quitting the business. Thank you. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

    Hi Frank

The only that comes to mind is a trapped wire??? earthing out, I have done that on a printer but to be honest never worked on the machine you have.

the odd thing I had was if one of the covers was open the display worked if they both were closed, blank!

    PS quit the business lol!

Thanks Madas. I disconnected only about 4 connectors and tried troubleshooting for pinched wire but wondering if board blew somehow. Get nothing form control panel except indicator light that power is on. Frank
