FSC 2126 Web Password

I've had a FSC 2126 back form a customer, and the web password admin00 has been changed, and they don't what it is or who did it. Is there a procedure for resetting this, I've seen as a few procedures on this site, and they look a little scary.

This has been discussed before but as your machine has Kyocera service mode you can try the following.

Enter service mode it displays 000 in the top right, press the green button to enter report mode.

Select all at the bottom, the machine will print the settings.

Select 021 (memory clear)

U021 Memory initializing
Description
Initializes all settings, except those pertinent to the type of machine, namely each counter, ser
vice call history and mode setting.Also initializes backup RAM according to region specification
selected in maintenance item U252 Setting the destination.
Refer to *1 of the maintenance mode item list about the item initialized.
Purpose
To return the machine settings to their factory default.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Press [Execute] on the touch panel.
3. Press the start key. All data other than that for adjustments due to variations between
machines is initialized based on the destination setting.
4. Turn the main power switch off and on.

For errors occurred, turn main power switch off then on, and execute initialization.
Error codes

Codes Description
01 Configuration initialization error
02 Counter initialization error
20 Engine initialization error
40 Scanner initialization error

Pretty Sure this machine does not have simulation U021. Took a firmware revision for them to add U252 back

Yeah no u21. Got a prescribe command from tech support tried applying with FTP and KMnet viewer still no joy

they are looking into it for me keep you posted
