Gotta look at a 5500i with jam code 4303, has anyone else had these jams. I know from the manual that it's a duplex jam ( Dup sensor 1 ) but wonder if there's a known problem I've missed.
Many thanks ..... G.

Have you got all mods in place? There has been modified Duplex eject roller with heat resistent rubber tyres (probably silicon). Check the bulletins!
.OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?
Thanks Habik,
Can you give me a part number for the modded roller please, I cannot find a bulletin regarding this.
I have looked at the parts manual but cannot find a roller called the Duplex Eject Roller.
Many thanks ..... G

Hi any joy with this with bullitin ect pkease can you let me know have same issues
Have you checked in the lower motion guide? Does it operate well!
"If the gap between the eject unit housing and the feedshift lower guide is small due to the dimensional variation of those parts, the thrust backlash is reduced by thermal expansion which generates loads at the motion of the feedshift lower guide."
Basically the drive plate for the solenoid and motor is after modification further away (thickness of 2-3 mylars I use two)from the main frame of the unit. The mylars are attached to the plate!!
Eject unit housing < 2-3 spacers (mylars) < Drive Plate < Screws < Eject unit cover
