I got a DP 470 on a fs6530. The main motor on the DF locks up and makes a very loud noise then jams. Sometimes it will do 50 and other time will jam on the 1 st copy.The only way i could make it work was to take out the torque lmt from a pick up ass'y. The only problem is the pick tyre stays in down position all the time. I have replaced main motor,both clutches,feed tyre ass'y,and main board.There seam to be a lot of resistance from the pick up ass'y on those document feeders and the motor seam to struggle to turn it. Any help greatly appreciated.

They didn't use a small return spring on the DF original detect sensor actuator only gravity and the weight of the small plastic actuator. I have had to "de-burr" the the plastic on a couple and lightly oil them when they would hang up---> p/u roller staying in the down position looking for the next original.
