    KM4850 wide format

    Got a KM4850 wide format that looks great on the page except for the last 4 inches of the left side (facing machine) its making a double image, and it only does it on things with a thicker fill, thin lines doesnt show a double image, but thicker fill will.

    We tried cleaning the charge wires and it made no change.

    anybody got an idea?

      Sounds like it could be fuser related. Run a test and stop the machine before that last 4 inches gets to the fuser, but after it has cleared the drum and see if the image has already been doubled.

              FYI, it was the developer unit that was bad, the magnets on that side have started to fail. When running a simulation 140, we can fade the shifted image by lowering the number.
