[Misc] CS 820 Pushing image up the page, and cutting it off when going through ADF

Ok...This is a weird one, so buckle up.

The first image is the original. The area outlined in red is the text that is being put on the copy. Everything in that outline is being moved up the page, everything above, and below it...is being cutoff. Here's where it gets even stranger, it only happens from time to time. I put several hundred pages through the ADF, and I never saw it happen. Any ideas?

This happens when the df sees the original as another size such as 11x17. This can be caused by very bright overhead lighting or sun light thru a window at a certain time of day. Place a doc in df and then cover the length sensor on the tray and see if you can duplicate problem.
