    [Misc] kyocera fs-1116 MFP

    Hi to all,

the machine gets ready to function, but after a bit a message comes up "printing pag.1" and all the lights at the operator panel start blinking, and it stays completly locked.

    Any help appreciated!
    Thanks-

What have you tried so far to correct this problem ?

Is the printer connected to a computer? If so, power it off and unplug it from the computer (only leave the power-cable plugged in) and power it back on. See if problem occurs when printer is standing alone.

If the MFP is connected to a fax line, it may be trying to print out a fax it received. I can't find this model on kdaconnect to download a service manual for it. Is there a service mode for this machine that will clear the fax memory? That may be your fix.

Either that or I've had a 255c that would refuse to print a fax and kept asking for paper in tray 1 when it had paper in it. Paper size was set to auto and it was detecting the correct size and type. I just re adjusted the side guides, power cycled again, and the backed up faxes printed out.
