    Kyocera FS 2020D close rear unit

    Hi everyone,

    having an issue with a Kyocera FS 2020d that will not recognise that the rear unit is closed- is there anything I can do to fix/override?

    Take it apart and look

      There should be a switch or a sensor that gets blocked when the door is closed telling the machine that the door is in fact... closed.

      If the machine is not seeing that the door is closed... I think you can go from there, yeah?

        Check for paper scraps in the plug unit.
        I know what I know better than anyone else knows what I know.

          There's a Micro switch on the left hand side (machine side), which is actuated by a metal plate which is located underneath the fuser (left side) bend the metal plate towards the machine
