    cs 5501i mailbox setup?

I know this my seem a little elementary, however, I am installing a MT-730B (mailbox unit) on a cs 5501i mfp and was wondering how to set each computer to its corresponding tray. I am assuming it's done through the print driver but not sure where to make the change in the driver.

Print driver is installed on each individual PC: Control panel --> Devices and Printers --> Right click on printer --> Go to "Printer Properties" --> Click on "Advanced" tab --> Click on "Printing Defaults" button at bottom left --> Change the Destination to the tray they wish to print to.

Print driver is installed on server and shared out to each PC: Depending on what permissions they set for the end users, if the above directions change the default for everyone rather than just the PC you're on, do this instead: Control panel --> Devices and Printers --> Right click on printer --> Go to "Printing Preferences" --> Change the Destination to the tray they wish to print to.

I guess you have installed mailbox sorter on to the 4000 sheets finisher. First thing you need to do is to turn it on. Go to printer properties->device settings and use auto configure there or just check it manually. Than you will be able to see mailbox options under the finishing tab in kx driver.

And yes, the driver can be configured on each pc.

Thank you both, I cant remember the last time I installed an actual mailbox unit on to an mfp, I've always just created a folder at the mfp for the individual users. Nonetheless, all the computers can now print to their respective mail trays.
