    Kyocera Client Tool?!

    This one is annoying. I have an FS-1320MFP, it came in with fualty buttons, (the START button was registering but not initilising anything) So as a first step, I replaced the Main PWB. Now thats all fine and dandy the problem is solved, but apparently I have to re enter the machines serial number, as that was stored on the mainPWB.

    The FS-1320 does not have a network card or port and can only be connected to a PC via the USB, so I pulled up the service manual, and apparently I require this Kyocera Client Tool. It must come with the original drivers on the CD with the machine, how ever I do not have these.. I have scoured the kyocera download site and cannot find the software any where. Does any one know where I might find this software?
    I am lost on this one :/ Cheers

      this is a hard one.i GOOGLED, kyocera client tool and guess what its all there including a how to do it movie.

          Excellent use of capital letters sir, and yes I did GOOGLE for the Client Tool, and I believe the link you are referring to is http://www.kyoceradocumentsolutions....ient_tool.html

          How ever informative this 45 second video briefly describing the client tool in the most robust way possible, I still fail to find a downloadable version of this software.

              try the google page again towards the bottom of the page there is a download for this tool

                  Ah yes I saw that one as well, how ever it contained nothing but broken links. I was able to find another tool, a Serial Number Repair tool that Kyocera has on their site that was able to do the job, this tool was not mentioned in the service manual under Main PWB replacement, which made it hard.. but all is well now.

                              you need to download the image dvd or cd. try the european kyocera document solutions pages.
