I am currently dealing with intermittent c1000 codes on a CS5501i. I arrived at the customers office replugged in the mfp and it came to ready, I ran 20 pages though the mp tray as well as about 10 envelopes and had no issues. They have called me back up a day later with the same c1000 code and went through the same process to resolve the issue. Is there anything that can be done to keep this code from continually reoccurring?

I went back there today, for the same call, turns out that the customer is stacking envelopes next to the ones that were being fed and they would cause a bind on the lift motor as the tray would rise. I removed the envelopes, reset the mfp; and all is good, it would have helped me diagnose the issue had they left the envelopes there the other times they called me.Comment
