km 2530/km 3035/km 3050 c4200 and c5300

Hi friends,
Greeting to you all, please my friends,i have been cracking my head to solve this problem of c4200 and c5300 since i knew this very models of machines, but no solution until i change the main board, i have a lot of the main board in my shop because of this very problem . So my good people God, is there any way i can clear this problem for the main board? because this problem is causing me to damage more machines in my shop

pls any idea will be highly appreciate

check the safety switches at the rear that are activated by closing the side door and also the small push switch inside the front door, either of these can give you the codes that you mention.

The charge unit is shorting out. Replace the charge wire, grid or the charge unit

By any chance are you using 50ppm drums in 25-30ppm machines? On the 5050 range we had few mishaps using the "slow" drum in faster m/c and vice versa.

Dear friends,
I thank you all for your respond, please try to understand me, I've checked both left side door switch, front door switch and the main charger grid, and the c4200 will still be there until i change the main board. I replace cleaning lamp according to the service manual but c5300 will still be there until i change the main board. so what i am asking you is this ,is it possible to CLEAR this codes from the main board.

Did you do a 906? Did you open and close the transport with the machine on? Then you cleared the code.

Higher in U900's there is list of system errors if memory serves me well. Not U904, something higher.

Can u906 clear this code? believe me i don't know, i will try this tomorrow, i only use this u906 when am having cassette problem. . but what do you mean by transport with the machine on, because the machine does not show sign of driving, it's only the fans that will On, the machine will display c4200, the main motor will not drive.

Just by off chance, is the Left hand door hinge broken?

5300 broken cleaning wire detected, defective cleaning lamp or Engine board(main board is the engine board in this machine)
4200 polygon motor steady state detected, laser Diode, polygon motor or engine board

High voltage arcing can cause some strange errors as well

Also this great machine is approaching its end of life it is 13 years old.
