TaskAlfa 3050ci error C2730

hi

the error code C2730 is the transfer release motor inside the transfer belt. i replace the transfer belt but the error is still there. please need assistant asap. thanks in advance.

C2730- Secondary transfer release motor error
Try the Press release motor check (U030) and see what the result is and check the colour release sensor is still in place.
Also check the paper conveying unit to make sure that the sensors are clean.

i changed a new transfer belt and also the paper conveying unit but still.

the solution is to change the motor behind the transfer "roller".
the error tells you what to do.=> change the ranfer roller release motor.

if you want to go the easy way, change the complete conveying unit.
this takes 5 minutes.

I Went on a machine yesterday with this code. Do I need the motor and the housing or just the housing. (it is making a clicking noise)

in 90% of cases, I only change the housing. In some cases I also had to replace the motor and gears.

Thanks for the input. The customer is close, so I may just go pull it out and look at it. I hate making a return trip and not having all the correct parts
