    KM 4050 boot problem

    I have a km 4050 that won't boot.

The initial problem was with the power board, I found a lizard had shot the board.
I had it repaired but it didn't work so I ordered another one.
On puting the new one now the machine powers on but gives no display.
I swaped the DIMM on the touch panel with the one on the engine board.
    Still I got the same.
So I went and looked for a DIMM from elsewhere and when I put it on the touch screen, and one of the other DIMMs on the engine board, I got a display and the machine just displayed "loading, please wait" and nothing else happened.
When I placed the new DIMM at the back (engine board) I lose the display.
At this stage it can't even take firmware!!!
I am wondering, should I also replace the other DIMM?

Note: I had also tried another engine board (Logic board) but the results are the same

The main board F-Dimm is not the same as the operation panel main PWB F-dim. At this point it might be best to replace both of them

302GR94202 Code Dimm Main PWB. About $80.00 from Kyocera

302GR94182 Code Dimm operation Panel Main PWB About $80.00 from Kyocera

Had something very similar. I formatted the hdd and it worked. But the dimms are different you cant change them from back to front

Had the same issue on a km 5050 and we replaced the dimm on the main and it took right off
