TASKalfa 3010I intermittent black prints

We have a 3010i that since it was new very intermittently we will get black prints, then it will work fine. Replaced the drum unit so far and have checked the spring that provides the charge. Next we are ordering a hv. Has anyone else had this issue?

i know is old problem, but do you remember the solution? i have the same symptoms on several 3010i...

used to be narrow black lines (see attachment) but lately is the whole page

It most certainly is a High voltage arcing problem.
What happened before the lines started. Did you or someone else replace anything or work with the harnesses, maybe pinch a wire? I would clean and trace harnesses/ground/live contacts then test MC, DK, HV in that order.

It happened to me too on a 3011i, I solved it by replacing the drum unit.

I'm having the same problem this week on a 3011i. I replaced the charge roller a couple weeks ago but they just called back with same issue. I guess I'll try swapping the entire drum assy and see what happens, but these machines are so similar to many others and I"ve never had one do that before.
