    how to reset drum on my bizhub pro c500

    just got a bizhub pro c500, want to change 4 drums by myself, don't have service manual, I was told that I need to reset drums after I put them in, can anybody tell me the procedure?

    First of all there is no chip on those drums.

    So you can change them by yourself.

    The only thing you have to do is remove the belt unit and take off the drum unit you need to replace.

    After that there is to screws on top of the drum unit. Loose them up and take off the place over the drum.

    After that check on the side of the drums and remove the black screws that maintain the big bearings.

    Once it's done pull gently on both sides of the drum unit to let go the drum.

    Then replace it by the other one.

    Note: Be careful not to put the drum the wrong side.
