    ta 3550ci firmware problem

    updating firmware failed only shows welcome screen until hotline was contacted was instructed to reset display panel with sw on display pcb now machine cycles display black tried loading firmware one at a time all passed except main replaced main pcb mem pcb code dimm no change followed flowchart from kyocera

      Did you try to load the firmware using the "emergency" steps?? I believe it is listed on the flowchart for troubleshooting the "welcome" screen issues... I have done it before but has been a while back.. also, are you trying to load only from USB? Try loading from CF card on the main, may help...

          Had similar problem, maybe same. I don't remember if I got a code or welcome screen, but the suggested solution was: firmware, emergency firmware, board, dimm, fax. But after we replaced the hard drive. fixed.

              Had a similar issue on a 4550 ci and after the emergency firmware took it still need the panel pwb and it was fixed after that
