Duplo DP-C110 Error E006

My friend is having a problem with his Duplo, had me look at his Duplo DP C110 and everytime he turns it on it seems like the gears are about to move inside and then suddenly the E006 appears. I have never worked on a Duplo before so I am really lost on this one. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

I have searching for a solution to this problem but found nothing, found one more person with the same problem but no one has answered him. Guess this problem is harder to fix than I thought.
