    [Jamming] KM 2030

HiI have a KM 2030. The paper copies and begins its journey out but jams where there is a long white plastic guide with teeth on it. Some of the teeth are chipped but would this make that much difference? I wonder if it could be a roller problem? Is it possible to replace the plastic guide as a first step? my thinking is this would be a common issue, because it seems a simple issue, but cannot find any posts about it.

Replace the eject guide ,it really sounds like it from your description. However a worn out gear 19 that drives your fuser unit can also cause that but you didn't mention any noise so it's likely the eject guide
failure is not an option !

Hi No there isnt any noise. So this thing is called the Eject guide. Its 30cm long and seems to be the last guide to the out tray. It has about eight groups of 2 or 3 teeth or combs on it, and the distinctive thing is it is clear or pale plastic coloured - not black or dark, like everything elese around it.
It does have chipped teeth. Would this cause the problem ? I would like to try and replace it myself, if I can get hold of one.
