FSC 8520MFD slow to print from Energy Save mode/Hybernate.

I have a client with and new A3 Kyocera FSC8520 MFD. 3000 pages.
They're having problems with the machine coming to ready state after energy save mode is active.
The machine takes 2 - 3 mins to print the first page. I confirmed this by printing off the config page.

This is a new machine is there a firmware update for this fix?

    Neo,

One thing to check is the type of energy saver and low power mode you have set on the machine. Default times are ridiculously low. I usually set low power to 15 mins and sleep at 30 mins for low volume users, longer for busier machines or at customer request. Also, energy saver has a quick recovery mode, try that. Had machines that would error out trying to wake up from energy saver mode, depending on what functions it has been tasked to do.

Also, how is this machine networked? Had a customer recently set their own network up and connected the box WSD. Certain PDFs would take forever to print. Hooked them up TCP/IP direct and the problem went away.

    Hope this helps.
