    CS 255/305/FS 6525/FS 6530 Charger roller

I have been going thriugh these drum units lately. Only getting about 90k to 100 k. Thats it. I am finding these transfer rollers wear out fast. Is there anywhere I can get just the roller?

image formation section of the parts manual. MC is available.

Wait.. just noticed you mention the drum unit, but ask about transfer roller. Are you looking for charge or transfer roller.

Yeah the charge rollers in these machine and the new task alfas do not hold up as long as the drum. We keep spares on the shelf as 99% of the time the charge rollers are the issue.

I have had success in cleaning the charge roller. I take a rag with some cleaner on it and wipe down the roller until all the white reside is gone. Then I dry off the roller and go back over it with a rag and alcohol. I have done Saturn series and just finished a Taskalfa 255 before I saw this post. If the charge roller is not scarred, I'd try cleaning first.
