    [Misc] TaskAlfa 3010i AirPrint

I have a customer that has a TaskAlfa 3010i and they are wanting to use the AirPrint feature for this machine, but despite the instructions simply saying AirPrint only needs to be enabled the machine cannot be found when searching on their iPads. I have even reset the machine to factory settings and started from scratch but nothing has worked.

Is there anyone else here having this problem or something similar?

    Thanks in advance.

Assuming that the copier and the iPads are on the same network, there is a Kyocera app in the App Store they could use for wireless printing

I've had no problems getting the Kyocera line with Airprint functionality to work. Airprint is turned off by default. It can be enabled in the web interface. The copier and iDevices must be on the same local network.

That being said, since Airprint uses generic printing it does have limitations that the Kyocera app does not have, so you do have options other than Airprint.

The printer must be on wireless network

I've had a few issues with BT Routers set to Smart Chanel switching.

If they are on the same network, airprint is enabled on the printer and it still can't be found try looking into this. I've had to change the wireless to a standard channel such as 11 on a few occasions for Airprint to work.
