    CS 3010-3510 key counter.

I had a tech call me and ask me where the key counter connector was located. I couldn't find much info on this as to whether it's a cable or just a YC connector on the EPCB. Can anyone help?

In the service manual, Installation section, there's a detailed guide on installing the key counter as an option.

The tech said he didn't have the manual otherwise I wouldn't have posted.

In that case he should find one, or hire THE TECH to help him out with it. I'm saying this cause it's not a simple task, and it differs if the key counter is mounted directly on the device, or on the previously attached document table. Takes fair amount of disassembling just to see the connector and the cable that has rather curved and long path to connect to the engine pwb.

All I asked for was the connector number or where the harness is located. Some copiers ship with the key counter cable installed and some don't. There isn't any mounting because he's connecting a vend station (coin box). He is a tech. I've talked with him before. He was switching out copiers and the customer wanted the vend station moved from the old copier to the new copier. He couldn't find a connector to match the harness. I need to figure out if the connector is there or if he needs a different wiring harness.

In that case it's YC33 4-pin connector which i marked for you here:

And this one ships with the key counter cable.

He told me nothing was connected to YC33 which is where the key counter harness should have connected. He must have lost his cable. Regardless the cable he has is for the end of the harness and not the board. I'll send him a cable that fits YC33 and all should be well.

              Thanks .

Interesting, I was on the phone for about 15 minutes yesterday (WED) with a customer that needed this information as well, however the coin op that he wanted to use had a larger connector than YC-33. 4 pins but larger. I just wonder...
