    TA-255C printing color

I have a TA255c that is not printing the desired color. It appears as dark blue on the monitor and a HP. On the Kyocera, it appears as purple. If I were to make a copy of the HP print on the Kyocera, it copies as dark blue.

I have tried to calibrate and change print settings and update print drivers. But the prints continue to come out as purple. I have attached the sample pictures. the white lines are from my scanner and not the Kyocera.

Kyocera has colour profiles that you can download to the machine. The profiles emulates other manufactures colour tables. The profiles are avaliable on kyocera website for dealer logins. Maybe someone can help you with that.

Gotta remember, the Monitor is RGB and the Printer is CMYK...you'll never get an *exact* color, just a close approximation! Each device--monitor and printer has a different gamut or color space that it can reproduce!

Gamut - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You can load profiles to the printer so that you can get more accurate colors such as pantone has.

The best way to do it is get a color calibrator that exactly calibrates your input (screen) to your output (printer)!

Color Management System, Services & Software from X-Rite

The *target* is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get!) result!
