I have a KM 5035 the print button light blinks and when I press the print mode has message format error hard disk and I also get another message
hard disk error press go code: 1. After restarting the copier I got a C0640 and when the copier goes into energy saver mode you can hear the hard drive
still spinning does not stop, copy mode works no problem making copies.

1087 1087 to get into service mode

u24 format hard drive.

If same replace hard drive or remove hard drive and check hard drive integrity on a computer with usb to ide hard drive interface device. Also check the hdd cables connections.
