3050ci cloning to 3051ci ?? SETUP Tool ?

ive got a 900 Job Accounting list i cant seem to move over to a new 3051ci...
917 from the 3050 gives 3 files...
then i open them in Setup tool.. then i get angry and hold in lots of high blood pressure.. #$#@Kyocera!

from reading up i gather im to "open" or "prepare" both? main files? one by one? then set the destination machine to a 3051ci?

the Setup Tool manual says theres a dependency, "files cannot be opened by themselves"

Use KM Net Viewer, export and import of is much easier. You will need to add both devices to the accounting view and then use the set multiple accounting devices option.

When exporting with U917 don't just select accounting, cause there will be some dependencies missed. Instead, select everything, and than open it with Setup tool and it will work.

You would think so. I do not know why Kyocera makes it so difficult. You have to use KM-Net viewer.

and still wont work on job accounting, LOL.

OK.. played with it abit in the office...i think this is the way to best clone machines between older and newer models..
Net Viewer is a little dicey when it comes to choosing destination vs source machine though.. sigh..

there used to be KM net for accounting, but it died. i wish Kyocera keep that project updated.
