    Copystar Maintenance Display

    Can anyone tell me how to clear the (Time For Maintenance) in the display
    on a Copystar CS-2030 copier. It's an old copier and customer doesn't want any maintenance, other than a cleaning. They just want the display cleared.
    I don't know were to begain Copystar isn't my line of copiers.

        10871087 will get you into Simulation mode (maintenance mode), Sim 251 will let you reset the counts.
        They call me Supertech for a reason

          Just my 2 cents...I would never clear a maintenance message without doing a minimum basic procedure (for this model a developer change at least), if for no other reason than for the next tech to come along (probably me). Your only fooling yourselves, besides the machine doesn't stop operating because of this message. Your just indulging a customer who is unwilling to do proper maintenance for his machine and will probably blame you anyway when something goes wrong.

            You know you are correct. I agree 100 %. The only reason I'm doing this is because I have 4 laser printers and 2 laser Fax Machines that I service at this company and they have promased to replace there copier with a new one at the 1st of the year.
            Or at least a good rebuilt one. But I do agree with you Daveh.
