FS3140 not responding after sleep or low power

I've seen a few FS3040 displays say please wait & need the rocker switch turned off/on to copy. However, they will print no problem. Now I have a customer saying their FS3140 (not3140+) take forever to wake up after sleep. They all have the latest fw. Ideas?

I couldn't find solution for this one, until Kyocera provided some tips. Replacing boards didn't help in my case. You are basically having C3200 codes that you can't really see on display, but they can be seen in the event log. You need to clean optics and glasses, and especially clean the bottom side of ISU frame as shown here:

Make it crystal clean together with mirrors and upper side and you should be ok.

Kyo fan- Now that's what I call helpull! I'm 80% into Konica Minolta, so I would not have thought optics, or to check event logs. Very much appreciated.

Also try setting sleep level to quick recovery in the system menu. This has fixed a lot of this for us.

          Lees-
I cleaned optics meticulously as previous post suggested. Same problem. Where is the quick recovery in system menu? I dont see it. At console, or in Command Center?

Sorry, I forgot this machine does not have the option to change the sleep level. It is on the newer machines only. The only thing you can change on this one is the sleep time.
