Hopefully some one may have an answer for this!
I am currently looking at supplying a chain of real estate agents 5 TASKalfa 2551ci`s. We have samples of the clients originals which are averaging around 40% toner coverage per page according to the last page coverage report from our showroom TASKalfa 2551
We are not sure that the coverage report shown by the Kyocera is correct and we have been trying to find a A4 colour test chart that is a true 5% (or 10% Etc.) coverage so that we can ensure that the last page coverage shown is reasonably accurate .Need a original that we can print that is true coverage.
As a small dealer we can not afford to supply machines that are averaging 40% coverage at .6/6c per Page.as we will be taking a massive hit. We are up against a manufacturer (not Kyocera) whose rep does not care what the toner consumption is as he is only interested in the sale.He is also guaranteed the potential customer that they will not exceed a 10% annual copy page increase for the next 5 years! (service department will have to wear the loss)
3 tier billing will not cut it in this instance as 90% of the clients work is averaging 40% toner coverage.
We are coming across this more and more so need to get our toner coverage calculations as close as possible. Hate to walk away from deals.......
Generic toner is also not an option.
Grateful for any ideas/assistance.....
