utax 542 fax

Hi All
has anyone out there worked on the utax 542 fax/printer ????
the reason i ask is when adding toner to this machine you have to
insert a card to let the machine no u have replaced the toner..
if you have not got a card is there a work around if your customer
has lost the card..

Unforunately, if you do not have a card with the toner, the machine will keep telling you to replace the toner. The manufacturer was intelligent enough so that clients would have to buy original toners only from them. the same goes for the previous models, the Utax 540 and 541, and the same for the drum replacement.
