    Muretec MFX 1430

Just Picked up a service contract on this any thoughts?
Seems like parts are not readily available. Also the scanner seems to not pick up the whole page every time.

As long as you are authorized reseller or service provider, parts are normally in stock.
If the copies are shifted and printing on 2 sheets of paper, you need to change the original doc. feeder actuator. It gets worn down by paper friction. Part# DA70144060 feeler

In general these are pretty good machines and the muratec hotline is very helpful. In fact they'll help anyone that calls in. You will need some specific parts though. The feeler previously mentioned is very common. Also the left hinges on the tend to crack and cause issues. The fusers can be problems as well. Generally, the thermo-breaker will fail. They are dependable and easy to work on.

Ditto the hardware is good. Make sure the system software is updated and machine is on good clean power. The the fuser should last its rated 60k pages easy. At 60k pages you replace feed tire, transfer roller and fuser , much like a maint kit for an hp printer. Replace the feeler and the feed rubber as needed.
