    Muratec intilializing problem

Anyone know how to resolve a constant intilializing message on a 2050?

    Thanks.

on the 1430's and 2030's, this problem was caused by the nic board. Remove the rear cover and you can try reseating the board. It is the one with network connector on it. With my machines that procedure only lasted a coupla days. Ended up replacing board.

Seen this before too. You could flash the firmware. Chances are the NIC board is bad.

Did flashing the firmware fix this? I am wondering because I have a problem with a 2850 that I get no connection light at the NIC and when I go into the management screen on page 3 there is no "network" tab to use to set the IP address.
