from the console muratec 2850 when browsing to the server 2008 error message unable to locate domain. works on a server 2003.

these copier are bad about browsing from copier to a computer location. make sure you have the most updated firmware, it could help. if you are setting a scan to folder location on the server, set up your folder to complete sharing with all rights to change and try to set short cut as //computer name/folder name
they like to scan to work groups not domains. if the domain is johnscompany.com just put johnscompany as the work group under network settings under management. i have these working in a domain just fine, but if the domain name is all caps, you must put it into the copier as all cps, but drop then end of the domain.
