    Muratec 2850 Duplex Issue

    We have a Muratec 2850 that when it does a duplex scan the second side fonts get all glitched up with the copy. We replaced the document feeder and nothing. We are now thinking it is the board but can't figure out why, if that is the case, it would only glitch on the back side of the page and not also the front. We appreciate any help you can give us!

      Try replacing (or turning around) the scanning glass for the duplex side of the ADF by opening the ADF cover and raising the part labeled "A2". This exposes the scanning unit for the 2nd side. I have had the same indication when wear marks become etched into the Glass covering the scanning unit.
