Have a bizhub 250 networked up and working fine. Decided to use an 8 port switch so I could network up their New Muratec fax machine as well and can not even ping the bizhub through the switch. The blinking green light is on and blinking where the ethernet cable goes into the copier...all lights on switch are lit up like there is a connection. Have already tried swapping the cables. The Muratec is working through the switch.

ok if you take it off the switch will it ping? can you ping the muratec through the switch? possibly a bad switch. finally is it a switch or router? big difference. router you would have to access through a web browser and set settings on. -

Yes it is def a switch. There is no configuring to a switch too if I am correct. And yes the Muratec works like a champ through the switch. I tried turning the Muratec off thinking it was causing problems but that is not it. The Bizhub did keep its same IP address as before so thats not a factor. And yes I can plug the Bizhub back into the port coming out of the wall and it will work fine again.Comment

Try to change the IP address for the Bizhub, maybe it is a conflict between different addresses.Comment
