[Error Code] OKI MC860 Error code

Hi Guys, Just joined today and hoping someone can help, we have 2 OKI MC860 MFD copiers, one has a fault, now firstly they are in another office so will have to relay the info on to fix/diagnose, I believe it has been set back to factory reset, (that's what I asked him to do) it now comes up with the error code 'please call service scanner unit failed to detect printer' any help or if it needs to be thrown away advice will be appreciated
