Looking for opinions on best compatible cartridges for hp

we have been using one company exclusively for years, cartridges work great with reasonably low failure rates. however we have become unhappy with a few tactics they have used when trying to return a defective cartridge. we are looking for suggestions based on your experiences with this as to what vendors you are satisfied with using for hp compatible cartridges?

While I'm not a big fan of non OEM supplies, you might see if this place has anything you can use:
Laser Printer Parts - HP, Lexmark, Canon, Ricoh - Parts Now
The mothership has been using them for a while, and they seem to be pretty good at what they do. And they have an awesome tech support department.
