Oce 9400 Scan to file issue.

I was recently on a little sales call for new clients. I stopped into a printer I hadn't seen before because they had a wide format sign. They have an Oce 9400 and although I have worked on this machine for a few years I am in the infantile stage when it comes to the software stuff. Anyway the guy described a problem he was having when he wanted to scan to file to make a CD for his customer and he can't do it without the machine making a printed copy also. I had no answer for him and would like to play the hero here if you know what I mean. Anyone have an answer for me on which area to change to get to just scan to file. They are running Windows 98.

OCE 9400 question

Does anybody know where I can get a used controller for an OCE 9400?

There is a option in the Oce settings editor called "Check Print". Turn it off and it will scan without plotting a copy simultaneously.

You'll have to have a Scan to File license. Check the configuration report and it should be indicated, if not punt....

I have a sulution for your printer.
r u install the scan station first,
r u conect to machin monitor.
is the machin write ready to scan on the plotter

if not install the aspe file for your computer and the scan will work on windows xp without any problem
