    HP T770

Hello everyone! Can anyone help me with a procedure after replacing the HDD on a HP T770? I believe that a firmware upgrade is needed after HDD replacement. Is it true? In the service manual it's says just to replace the HDD with a brand new one. But it's not working. Any help? Thank you

You can not just put a new hard drive in. You can buy the hard drive from hp with firmware already installed.

yes but I was interested in downloading the firmware from somewhere and install it. HDD broke frequently and is not fare to be forced into buying a new HDD and firmware. It sucks...

Why is the hard drive braking frequently. That is not that common. There must be some other issue.

I ment in general HDD might fail. Why putting firmware on HDD instead of eeprom. Anyway, I have 2 machines with broken HDD, different customers. Do you have the proper firmware and procedure for update? Can u help? Thx
