Hi all, has anybody had any experiance setting up Papercut on an Oki es7470 or any Oki device. I recently installed Papercut on a customers network monitoring Konica Minolta, Samsung, Kyocera and Oki devices. I have all of the devices working except the Oki. I have reached the stage were I can log into the Oki device manually but it will not automatically log in using card release which is what is used for the other brands. I have checked firmware levels and tried card readers recommended by Papercut support but nothing seems to get the log in to work with the cards. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for my questions but has anybody got any recommendations for me to try. Thanks.

Not sure about Oki but i know on the Konica's you have to have the correct loadable device driver for the card reader installed on the MFD and the MFD set to card for authentication before the card reader will work. maybe the Oki is something along this line? -

Hi sparks thanks for your reply. You are right about the Konica's I had an issue with them at first but I have checked and followed the Oki setup procedure from Papercut and I just cant get the card and device to work together. I have contacted Oki but they don't seem to have much knowledge of Papercut on their devices. I'm not sure if I am using the correct card reader , even though I have been told its the correct one or as you say there is a setting on the device that needs to be checked.Comment
