    No Black drums

    The black drums for the oki es8473 and MC873 are on back order.Has anyone found a way to rest these?

    there is no way to reset oki consumables.

      Yes there is.Have done it and know how to reset many of their consumables. Just would be nice I could find out how to do this one.

        according to OKI Tech and John B at OKI training there isn't... you would have to place the chip board on the consumable and then that might not even work... but go for it if you want...have been working on OKI's 20 years and NEVER found a tried n true method.

          You might want to try google....or YouTube.Oki isnt going to tell you......well wait..it is in most of their manuals where the fuse is.You just have to put a small fuse across the terminal.

            well seems you have the answer so why post a question.

            frankly I rather not run the risk of screwing something up just to save the customer dollars when they should have some in stock.
